Thank you!
PwC Sri Lanka in collaboration with ICTA introduced a Credit Evaluation Framework to be adopted by lenders when lending to technology companies with minimal collateral. Expansion of a tech company is a daunting process due to challenges in obtaining debt facilities, as traditional credit evaluation methods require borrowers to provide tangible collateral to be eligible for a business loan. This alternative mechanism will enable tech scale-ups seeking capital to access debt funding without the burden of producing assets as security. The framework focuses on quantitative and qualitative factors that are most relevant to technology companies and includes existing generic credit evaluation frameworks used by banks. In this webinar, we will discuss:

     • Purpose and development of the framework
     • Eligibility criteria for technology companies
     • “Four pillars” under which companies are evaluated
